In short

This site sets no cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage for two technical functions only, and turns on cookie-free statistics only if you allow it.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a website saves in the visitor’s browser. The same rules apply to similar technologies such as the browser’s local storage: under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian data protection authority’s guidelines of 10 June 2021, those that are strictly necessary need no consent, while all others do.

Technical storage (no consent needed)

The site saves three items in your browser’s local storage:

• tema — remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Kept until you clear it in your browser settings.

• cookie_consent — remembers your choice about statistics (accepted or rejected), so the banner is not shown on every visit. Kept until you clear it.

• cookie_consent_timestamp — the date your choice was made. Kept until you clear it.

These items stay on your device and are never sent to OM Software.

Statistics (only with consent)

Only after you press “Accept” does the site load Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (Vercel Inc.), which measure pages visited and loading times in aggregate form. They use no cookies: visitors are recognised only by a temporary code derived from the request, discarded after 24 hours. No profiling takes place.

Services that do not track visitors

Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools let the controller check how the site appears in search engines: they install nothing on the site and do not track visitors.

Fonts are hosted on the site itself: displaying them makes no requests to outside services.

How to change or withdraw your choice

You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie preferences” button at the bottom of every page. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the whole site stays available without consent. Withdrawal takes effect immediately.

You can also clear the site’s local storage in your browser settings: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari.
