OM Software S.r.l. is an Italian company founded by Omar and Mario. Its mission is to publish apps that are useful, understated and respectful of the people who use them.
An application proves its worth at the moment it is needed. Not in the time people spend inside it. An application opened ten minutes a month can matter more than one opened every day, and neither should be designed to be opened more often.

Why OM Software exists
Omar and Mario founded OM Software to make the kind of apps they would want to find: few, carefully made, with nothing superfluous. A new project starts only when the company is ready to see it through.

02Data and energy
Less infrastructure, more control over data.
An application that works on the device does not need a machine running somewhere else in order to function. Two consequences follow from that choice, and they are rarely considered together.
What is not there cannot be lost
An archive that does not exist cannot be breached, sold or demanded. It is the simplest form of protection, and the only one that does not depend on how well it is guarded.

Verifiability
What the company states should be something a reader can check. Where a figure cannot be verified, it is not published.
Independence
The applications are sold, and that is all it takes to sustain them. No product decision has to answer to a second way of making money from them.
